The Falcon speaks - Welcome to the pre-season!!

The Falcon breaks his silence on the upcoming season, read here for all the goss!

` The Falcon` has survived the cold winter and couldn`t be keener for the season to come around. At this stage the club is considering a fourth team with rumours around of possible recruits. It appears that we may have reversed the past and have a few lads from Grange coming on board rather than the other way. `Kenners` and his one day wizards head across, we beat them in a memorable grand final a few seasons back and always got on well with them so they will fit straight in as everyone does at Fulham.

`The Falcon` had a smile when hearing the Jackson brothers may be available, as he`s keen to get every last drop of humour out of the lookalikes which is gaining momentum for a shorter version this year, sequels are always hard, Home Alone 2 was a perfect example, how can you forget that annoying kid twice? but stay tuned, especially those who thought they were safe because `The Falcon` has a few under his wing. Andrew `Drewsy` Parsons is back from his Leyland brothers trek wrestling crocodiles and the like, the big fast bowler/hitter with the headband may be playing more this year and our promising juniors are also a bit older now so we will all be kept on our toes in the nets just that bit more this season.

`The circle of trust` have been gathering throughout the off season during this time `Chazz Michael Michaels` (sibs for those who have been under a rock) is now Chairman Chazz, with Nicko rising up the corporate ladder in Melbourne with Cadbury.

Our senior teams will be in B1 and B2 again, with a one day side also in LOC, as mentioned previously we will keep everyone updated if another one is added. We both fell a little short last year and with the quality coaching from Doogie again this season we need to make amends.

Pre Season training has been announced with a mixture of fitness down the beach and the usual weekend net sessions, it’s a good chance for everyone to catch up again and get the cricket juices flowing . So get out to training as soon as you can because it appears there will be a bit of pressure for spots with the numbers on the rise.
