ATCA Fulham Falcons Association Trophies
See details here of Kara, Holla & Sammy’s big awards…
Congratulations from `The Falcon` to our senior Association Trophy winners for Season 2009/10.
David Karanicolou made 506 runs including a club record 211 during the season and was B1 trophy winner, making it back to back for the club for this award in consecutive seasons. `Kara` was often putting on a show in the middle and was always the batsmen the other teams feared. As an opener he often set us up and has been one of the clubs best batsmen for some time. Kara made 506 runs, av 42.17. Hs. 211.
We won both awards in C2 with Jeff Holloway winning the batting. Holla made 531 runs, avg 66.38. HS. 113. We also had Sam Johnson taking out the wickets. Johnson took 32 wickets, avg 10.56. BB 6/13.
Jeff `Holla` Hollaway held the batting together, still good enough to play A grade he trains properly and it isn’t a surprise to see him dominate when reading through the scorecards. He is a solid batsmen who values his wicket and has been a good influence on the young players in his side. Also stepped up to B`s when the club needed him.
Sam `Wilson` Johnson was new to the club this year and his left arm swing bowling went through most teams like Jonts at an afternoon tea spread. He looks set for higher honours down the track and also was a key player in C2 throughout the year, often causing the opposition to be bowled out very cheaply.
Be sure to buy these guys a drink at presentation night or if they`ve had too many seek out ` The Falcon` and he/she will accept the cheerage.
